Dyslexia Correction of Virginia

Angela Binns Odom became licensed as a Davis Dyslexia Correction® Facilitator in 2001.  She was inspired when her eleven year old daughter made a two year increase in reading level, after completing a week long Davis Program.  As an elementary teacher, Angela had always wondered why many intelligent, hard working students in her classrooms, were weak in language based subjects like reading, writing or spelling.  Davis seemed to be an answer.  After learning how different this approach was, she soon took action to bring it to her area. 

Angela now facilitates programs to children and adults in Virginia, Maryland and DC.  She has served on the Special Education Advisory Committee in her county, and enjoys speaking to groups about the topic of dyslexia.  As the founder and owner of Dyslexia Correction of Virginia, it is her pleasure to assist families in understanding a different, yet simple approach to improving learning differences.
